Vanamo Kide Simpukka, designed for the summer and hot climates. Kide weave is airy and porous, and combined with the unique blend of three natural fibers, this baby wrap is truly breathable and light. The wrap combines the great qualities of soft organic cotton and luxurious silk. A pinch of SeaCell fibers make the blend perfectly soft and cool! SeaCell is ecologically produced from natural seaweed and wood cellulose, and the fibre is said to have soothing and protective effects on human skin!

Although the Silk-SeaCell Vanamo wrap is cool and airy for the summer, the baby wrap can be used during all seasons. Kide weave is diagonally elastic which means that the baby wrap gives an optimum support for the baby and feels comfortable for both the wearer and baby. This thin wrap is perfect for babies but it can be also used for a toddler with multi-layer carries like double hammock.
The word ”kide” means ice chrystals and the Kide pattern was inspired by the traditional hand woven Finnish linen textiles. The Kide weave is a complex mixture of twill and tabby weaves which create the unique stuctured, porous and comfortable weave. Kide pattern is designed by textile designer Katja Hynninen.
How to care for your Vanamo wrap: Hand wash in cold water (30 celcius), hang or flat dry, iron with low heat. Ironing while still a little damp.
