At Little Zen One, we’re here to support you on your parenting journey. Whether you’re exploring baby carriers for the first time or refining your babywearing skills, we’re committed to helping you feel confident and comfortable. Below are the details of our returns, exchanges, and cancellation policies.

Try Before You Buy Program

Choosing the perfect baby carrier is important. That’s why we offer a Free Try Before You Buy Program. This program lets you experience baby carriers risk-free for 8 days before committing to a purchase.

  • Sign up here to try a carrier and test its fit, comfort, and style.
  • Alongside your free week, get fit checks from our Certified Babywearing Consultants.
  • We encourage you to use this program instead of ordering with the intent to return.

Cancellation Policy

We process orders promptly, so cancellation requests may not be possible.

  • Cancellations must be requested within 6 hours of placing your order by replying to your order confirmation email with "CANCEL" in the subject line. This does not guarantee a cancellation.
  • Refunds for eligible cancellations are processed within 3-5 business days, minus a $10 USD per item non-refundable cancellation fee.
  • Final Sale Items: Pre-orders, special orders, bundles, discounted items, and gift cards are not eligible for cancellations.

Return Policy

We accept returns for new, unused, and unwashed items within 30 days of delivery, subject to the following conditions:

Eligibility Requirements

  • Condition: Items must be in their original packaging with all tags and inserts intact.
  • Not Tried On: For safety and quality reasons, we cannot accept returns for items that have been tried on.
  • Final Sale: Pre-orders, special orders, sale items, and discounted items are not eligible for return.

Restocking Fee

A 15% restocking fee applies to returned items.

Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with returns or exchanges.
  • If your order included "free shipping," a flat fee of $22 USD (for baby carriers) or $35 USD (for larger items like outerwear) will be deducted from your refund or exchange to cover the total shipping costs.
  • If you paid for shipping, the original shipping charge is non-refundable, and an additional return shipping fee of $10.99 USD (for baby carriers) or $17.50 USD (for outerwear) will be deducted from your refund or exchange.
  • Customers may also purchase their own shipping label to mail items back. In this case, there would be no deduction for shipping from the refund or exchange.
How to Initiate a Return
  1. Email Us: Contact hello@littlezenone.com with the subject line "RETURN REQUEST" and include your order number.
  2. Follow Instructions: Package your item securely and ship it using the return instructions provided.
  3. Inspection: Allow up to 5 business days after receipt for inspection.

Exchange Policy

We offer exchanges for new, unused, and unwashed items within 30 days of delivery:

  • Items must meet the same criteria as returns (see above).

Waived Restocking Fee

The 15% restocking fee is waived for exchanges.

Defective or Damaged Items

If your item has a manufacturing defect or was damaged during shipping, we will replace it at no additional cost after review.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • If your order included "free shipping," the original shipping cost (e.g., $22 USD for carriers or $35 USD for larger items) will be deducted from your refund.
How to Request an Exchange
  1. Contact Us: Email hello@littlezenone.com with the subject line "EXCHANGE REQUEST." Include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos/videos if applicable.
  2. Approval: Our team will review your request and provide return instructions.
  3. Replacement Shipping: Once the item is received and inspected, we will ship your replacement.

Refunds

Approval Process

  • Allow up to two weeks for inspection. Approved refunds will be processed within 2-3 business days.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, minus applicable fees and shipping costs.

Deductions

  • If your order included "Free Shipping," the original shipping cost will be deducted.

Non-Refundable Items

We cannot accept returns for items with signs of wear, such as:

  • Pet hair, perfumes, or fabric softeners
  • Stains, spit-up, or other signs of use
  • Damaged packaging, tags, or inserts

If the item does not meet return criteria, we’ll notify you by email with an explanation.

Gift Returns

If your item was marked as a gift, you’ll receive a gift credit once the return is approved. A gift certificate will be emailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Cosmetic characteristics such as weaver’s knots, linen nubs, or slight color variations are normal for woven baby carriers and are not covered under warranty. These reflect the handmade nature of our products.
