Didymos Facett Purple: Wrap Review

Got to have a good play with Purple Facett this weekend. This is a pretty intriguing wrap. BNIB it's textured but soft to touch, almost iridescent, with a waffle-like, three-dimensional weave. The colours are really vivid - most of these pics are loom state and the colour is pretty true to life. I have to admit that I'm not a purples person (please make one in autumn colours, Didy!), but I'm impressed with how gorgeous this is.
Post-wash impressions: It's quite thin and light in hand. Easy to wrap with. Bandagey weave, will probably get more so as it breaks in. Wraps smoothly despite the texture. Not grippy. Nice stretch. Easy to tension and tighten and really trim fitting - not at all bulky on the shoulders. I wore it on what turned out to be 2+ hours walking/standing outside this afternoon and was quite comfortable, with no sagging in FWCC. Later made some sort of Front Torso Rebozo attempt and it was totally comfy on the one shoulder, with a nice compact knot. I can see this doing a lovely DH and a very clean CCCB when I start getting this baby on my back.
The light here was non-existent today so I'll try to add some action shots later. (Nursing baby and gritty evening light will have to do for now!
